Job Title: Senior Devops Engineer - Azure Location : Chennai Work Type: Work from office Role & responsibilities Designing, building and deploying scalable, highly available systems in Azure Managing and automating deployment CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches and tools experience (SonarQube and similar tools) Dockers and Azure Kubernetes configuration and deployment experience (Preferred) Troubleshooting and resolving production incidents in a timely manner Collaborating with development teams to ensure that applications are deployed and running efficiently in the cloud Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Azure Resource Manager templates Monitoring and optimizing performance and resource utilization in Azure Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and making recommendations for improvements Maintaining and managing backups, disaster recovery plans, and performance tuning of databases Key responsibility: Manage and automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps . Implement security measures for both Windows and Linux environments; experience with tools like SonarQube or similar is required. Create and maintain Windows IIS servers hosting applications developed in various technologies such as: ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET, React.js, Python Manage scripts: PowerShell, Command Line, Python Create and manage Windows Services to run automatically. Create Docker files and host applications on the Docker Engine . Create YAML files for deploying services to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) , including auto-scaling, with a special focus on Ollama and other AI-related workloads. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in the Azure cloud. Ensure source code management efficiency using Azure DevOps . Monitor and optimize performance/resource utilization using Azure monitoring tools and third-party tools like SolarWinds . Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud and AI technologies and recommend improvements. Maintain and manage backups, disaster recovery (DR) plans, and performance tuning for Azure VMs , databases , and AKS clusters. Preferred candidate profile 5+ years of hands-on experience working with DevOps and database technologies Hands on experience in Windows and Linux environments deployments Understanding of various relational and non-relational database technologies along with their benefits, downsides, and best use-case Willingness and commitment to learn other database, automation, and Cloud technologies Proficiency in automation Experience in Agile development methodology & Agile development tools Experience working with the databases in public Clouds, preferably Azure Strong analytical skills Ability to perform system monitoring and address various issues in the system Great communication and collaboration skills Interested Candidates drop your resume to Tlakshmikanthan@loandna.com
