Senior Developer, Infrastructure Development & Automation

Role Overview: You will be joining the Infrastructure Development team at ICE, where you will work on maintaining advanced financial networks and contribute to pushing the envelope with state-of-the-art technologies. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in computer networks, network protocols, and global organizational operations. Key Responsibilities: - Write and maintain software to interact with network devices, tools, databases, and user input - Gather requirements from business owners and keep stakeholders updated on progress - Ensure orderly release management and SDLC processes are followed - Collaborate with technologists from other teams to meet requirements securely - Document system components and operations, write unit and integration tests - Train end-users on new tooling and take ownership of tools and sub-components Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of development experience - Degree in Computer Science or related field - Proficient in software development with a proactive approach - Knowledge of WAN and LAN infrastructures, network principles, and technology - Strong written and oral communication skills - Comfortable with GNU/Linux operating systems and database technologies - Troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently Additional Details: The following skills and experiences are beneficial: - Development skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, C - Ability to work with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, YAML, and data interchange formats - Familiarity with DVCS, development dependency management tools, and functional testing - Knowledge of network automation services, Juniper products, Arista products, and IT automation tooling - Self-organizing and able to pick up tasks independently Note: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure automation, and ICE/NYSE services are desirable but not mandatory for consideration.,
