Senior Developer, Infrastructure Development & Automation

Role Overview: You will be joining the Infrastructure Development and Automation team at ICE, where you will work on the in-house automation platform, advanced network monitoring tooling, and other internal development projects. This role will provide you with hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in computer networks, network protocols, and solutions. Additionally, you will gain insights into the operation of a global organization, interaction of global teams, project development, implementation, and execution strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Write and maintain software that interacts with network devices, tools, databases, and user input - Gather requirements from business owners and keep project stakeholders updated on progress - Ensure orderly release management and SDLC processes are followed - Collaborate with technologists from other teams to capture requirements, utilize best data sources, and ensure secure software development - Document system components and their operation, write unit and integration tests for system reliability - Train end-users on new tooling and take ownership of tools and sub-components Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of development experience - Computer Science (or related field) degree - Proficient software development skills and ability to work autonomously - Knowledge of WAN and LAN infrastructures, general network principles and technologies - Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams - Familiarity with GNU/Linux operating systems, database technologies, and troubleshooting skills Additional Company Details: N/A,
