Job Description

Role & responsibilities Ensure that customer facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Work closely with backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient. Help engineering management prioritize technical roadmap and to identify gaps in process and planning. Help to establish and document development best practices and ensure that these practices are adhered. Preferred candidate profile Must have 7+ years of experience in Core Java, Java 11 or Above, Multithreading, Collections, Memory management. Experience in Identity Access Management using OAuth 2.0, Encryption and Decryption techniques, Experience in building RESTful microservices. Experience in GCP would be an added advantage. Knowledge / Experience in Java Swing would be an added advantage. Experience in writing unit tests (Junit, Mockito) Well-versed with the Agile methodology. Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
