Description:

Abilities: - Drives software design and implementation of the software roadmap, and drives the team decisions.

Design and develop complex application software code in multiple languages.

Develop reusable code pipelines through CI/CD. Developing and executing integrated test plans.

Coach and mentor to develop team members. Collaborate across the site to leverage and share best practices. Desired Skills:Significant experience with AWS or Azure cloud technology. Significant experience with Microsoft GitHub, IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Engineering Workflow Manager (EWM), Engineering Test Manager (ETM), and Engineering Requirements Manager (ERM). Experience using the APIs and security model within those tools. Experience with IBM DOORS Classic. Understanding of cybersecurity, Aerospace (DO-178), CMMC, and/or Export Control regulations. Advanced Jenkins automation or other CI/CD experience. 2+ years of scrum/agile experience. Advanced JAVA development experience. Strong communication skills. Soft Skills: Change Agent - Proactively learns new tools and integrates new methods to drive improved outcomes. Identifies and assesses new technologies that can add value and capability to GE. Builds rapport with the team and gets buy-in for ideas. Drives stakeholder understanding and acceptance of new ideas in their business. Participates in change programs by planning implementation activities with other change champions. Implements monitoring and feedback systems. Collaboration - Establishes communicates team members' roles in relation to their function and data. Shares knowledge, power and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill.
