Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review Project Information Forms (PIF) and proposal drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform structural analysis and design of buildings in line with relevant codes (AISC, BS, AISI, MBMA, IBC, etc.).
• Design building components to meet stress, stability, and serviceability requirements under various load conditions.
• Coordinate with detailing teams and customer service departments to address design-related issues.
• Attend meetings with consultants, client representatives, and municipal authorities for approvals and clarifications.
• Resolve day-to-day queries related to design and detailing to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor progress against schedules and report delays or issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards at the workplace.

Qualifications and Competencies

• B-Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum

  7 years of experience

  in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) design
• Proficiency in

  STAAD-Pro

• knowledge of

  MBS (Metal Building Software)

  and

  AutoCAD

  preferred
• Strong knowledge of

  steel structures

  and

  American design codes

  is essential
• Knowledge of

  Idea Statica connection software

  is an added advantage
• Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
