Job Summary:

Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using

  AutoCAD

  and

  SolidWorks

  based on project specifications.
• Design components, assemblies, and systems as per client and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, part lists, and revision control.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in prototype development and testing coordination.
• Attend client/engineering review meetings when required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  (2D Drafting) and

  SolidWorks

  (3D Modeling & Simulation).
• Good understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, assemblies, and tolerance stack-up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation practices.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E.

  in

  Mechanical Engineering

  ,

  Design Engineering

  , or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in

  sheet metal design

  ,

  mechanical components

  , or

  industrial product design

  .
• Exposure to

  GD&T

  ,

  PDM systems

  , and

  ERP integration

  is a plus.
