Senior Design Architect

As a Project Architect specializing in office fitouts at APS Property Solutions, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing the successful execution of commercial office fitout projects. Your main responsibilities will include: - Leading the planning, design, and documentation of office fitout projects. - Developing innovative and functional office layouts that optimize space utilization and align with client objectives. - Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and workplace safety standards. - Coordinating with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. - Overseeing the coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of office fitouts. - Conducting quality control checks at all project stages including finishing, installation, and handover. - Providing guidance on material selection, sustainability, and ergonomic workplace solutions. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Architecture or equivalent education/experience. - 7+ years of experience in commercial architecture, with at least 3+ years specializing in office fitouts. - Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software. - Strong understanding of office design principles, space planning, and workplace ergonomics. - Knowledge of local building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility standards. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions and team coordination.
