Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with 1to 2 years of experience to join our architecture studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality architectural drawings and construction documents under the guidance of senior architects. The role requires proficiency in CAD software, a strong understanding of building systems, and a keen eye for technical detail. Key Responsibilities: Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction details based on sketches, verbal instructions, and design concepts. Draft plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard software. Support architects in preparing presentation drawings, diagrams, and layouts. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and local regulations. Update and revise drawings as per design changes or client feedback. Maintain organized digital and printed drawing archives for each project. Participate in design coordination meetings and site visits when necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or Degree Architectural Drafting, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD is essential; Strong understanding of construction techniques, building materials, and detailing. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in an architecture or design firm for 1-2 years. Familiarity with local building bylaws and approval processes.
