Senior Database Engineer

WITS Innovation Lab is looking for a skilled Senior Database Engineer with strong experience in ETL development, SQL optimization, and preferably exposure to Duck Creek DMS Phase 2. This role supports data integration and performance tuning for enterprise-scale insurance technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL workflowsWrite and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalabilitySupport data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and availabilityCollaborate with application and DMS teams to support system integrationLeverage understanding of Duck Creek DMS Phase 2 in data-related configurations (if applicable)Requirements:5+ years of experience in database engineering, ETL, and SQLStrong understanding of data warehousing and relational database designHands-on experience with tools like SSIS, Informatica, or similarFamiliarity with Duck Creek DMS Phase 2 is a strong plusStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote/offshore environment.
