Senior Database Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Database Developer, based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Database Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable databases, optimizing database performance, ensuring data security, and implementing best practices. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate database solutions and supporting the development of high-quality, data-driven applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, MySQL)
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
• Knowledge of data security and backup/recovery procedures
• Experience with database management tools and technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
• Experience in cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous
