Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability. Security: Design and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Automation: Utilize Python and PowerShell to automate routine database tasks and improve operational efficiency. AWS Integration: Deploy and manage PostgreSQL databases on AWS, leveraging cloud services for scalability and reliability. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. Required Skills: PostgreSQL: 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration. MS SQL: Proficiency in MS SQL Server for database management and migration tasks. Python: Strong scripting skills for automation and data manipulation. PowerShell: Experience with PowerShell for task automation and system management. AWS: Experience with AWS cloud services for database deployment and management. Linux/Unix: Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems for database deployment and management. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
