Senior Database Administrator

As a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) at this company in Noida, your primary role will involve designing, implementing, and administering enterprise-grade SQL databases. You will need to blend strategic database architecture with day-to-day administration to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of mission-critical systems. Your expertise with SQL Server (including Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL), high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), automation, and enterprise-scale data management will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and administer Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) databases in an enterprise environment. - Perform backup/recovery tasks, fine-tune performance, and implement HA/DR solutions. - Utilize strong T-SQL skills for creating queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Work with cloud databases such as Azure SQL, AWS RDS, and Azure Managed Instance. - Familiarize yourself with ETL pipelines (SSIS/ADF) and BI tools (SSRS/Power BI) for enhanced data management. - Gain exposure to NoSQL/Big Data systems like Cosmos DB, MongoDB, and Hadoop for additional skills development. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated experience of 4-5 years as a Database Architect/DBA in enterprise settings. - Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration and architecture. - Hands-on experience with backup/recovery processes, performance tuning, and HA/DR solutions. - Strong command over T-SQL for various database operations. - Knowledge of cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Azure Managed Instance) is beneficial. - Exposure to ETL pipelines (SSIS/ADF) and BI tools (SSRS/Power BI) is a plus. - Familiarity with NoSQL/Big Data systems (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Hadoop) is desirable.
