Senior Data Scientist

You should possess a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or a related field. With 7 to 14 years of experience, you will be working from the office located in Kochi. Your skills should include: - 8+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years as a full-time Data Scientist, Machine Learning Researcher, or ML Engineer - Proficiency in Python and R programming languages with knowledge of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn - Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras - Strong understanding of various machine learning techniques such as clustering, decision trees, and neural networks - Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly in sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and the use of SpaCy - Ability to work with SQL databases and complex queries - Proven capability to work independently in fast-paced, start-up-like environments - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure Specific AI skills required for this role: - Experience in deploying and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) - Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning techniques - Expertise in Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) - Experience in applications involving audio, video, and image intelligence As part of your responsibilities, you will be expected to: - Design, build, deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models - Perform feature engineering to identify and calculate valuable input features - Clean, analyze, and prepare new data sources for analysis and model input - Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights across teams - Collaborate with Data Engineers to transition models from research to production - Optimize model performance using adaptive/incremental ML techniques - Recommend and implement solutions to enhance data quality and reliability - Work closely with the Product Development Team on new feature planning In addition, you will have AI-focused responsibilities such as: - Deploying and fine-tuning LLMs for various business applications - Applying reinforcement learning in predictive analytics and decision-making - Developing deep learning models for NLP, computer vision, and audio/video analytics - Designing AI-driven solutions targeting audio, video, and image intelligence This job opportunity is with Terawe, an IT solutions and services firm headquartered in Bellevue, WA, USA, with offices in India, Australia, Canada, and Ireland.
