Senior Data Scientist

As an experienced professional with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or related field, you should have 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 4+ years as a full-time data scientist, machine learning researcher, or machine learning engineer. Your expertise should include fluency in R, Python, and experience with common data science libraries like Pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience using neural networks and/or Deep Learning techniques with platforms such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Keras in a production setting. Key Responsibilities: - Build, deploy, monitor, and manage Machine Learning models - Identify valuable input features and implement a means for calculating them (feature engineering) - Investigate, clean, analyze, and prepare new data sources for higher-order analysis or as input into model features - Conduct data analysis and presentation using data visualization techniques - Transition models from research to production, collaborating with Data Engineers - Fine-tune model performance in a production setting using adaptive/incremental machine learning techniques - Map customer and/or product requirements to correct modeling, analysis, and visualization approaches - Recommend ways to improve data reliability and quality, and implement them - Collaborate with the Product development team to plan new features Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or related field - 8-12 years of software development experience - 4+ years of experience as a full-time data scientist, machine learning researcher, or machine learning engineer - Proficiency in R, Python, and common data science libraries (Pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) - Experience with neural networks, Deep Learning techniques, and relevant Python platforms/APIs (Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras) - Knowledge of various machine learning techniques and their real-world applications - Experience with NLP, SQL databases, and SQL queries - Self-starting attitude with a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Terawe is an IT solutions and services firm with offices in Bellevue, WA USA, India, Australia, Canada, and Ireland.
