Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist in the Product Data & Analytics team at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative data-driven solutions to support business and client needs. Your responsibilities will include creating scalable analytical solutions, conducting post-implementation reviews, and deriving insights from data to address critical business questions. You will work on developing predictive models, behavioural segmentation frameworks, profitability analyses, ad hoc reporting, and data visualizations. Additionally, you will be involved in building AI/ML capabilities to support analytics and reporting needs across various products, markets, and services. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with global and regional teams to architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting and data visualization capabilities - Translate client/stakeholder needs into technical analyses and solutions, present findings, and mentor junior colleagues - Drive data-driven decision-making within the organization through expertise in data management, data mining, data analytics, and quantitative analysis - Utilize proficiency in SQL, Big Data technologies, data visualization tools, and machine learning algorithms to add value to the role - Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across varying time zones - Apply analytical and problem-solving abilities, creativity, and self-motivation to deliver high-quality project solutions within agreed timelines - Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, demonstrate virtual team management skills, and leverage technical knowledge for team and organizational success Qualifications Required: - Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across varying time zones - Analytical and problem-solving abilities, creativity, and self-motivation - Proficiency in SQL, Big Data technologies, data visualization tools, and machine learning algorithms (Note: Any additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description),
