We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models and solutions to drive business insights and enhance decision-making processes. You should have a solid background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis, along with strong programming skills and a deep understanding of business objectives.

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers, to understand requirements, define project goals, and develop data-driven solutions.
• Analyse large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations. Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
• Apply statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods to develop predictive and prescriptive models. Evaluate model performance, iterate on improvements, and optimize models for scalability and efficiency.
• Identify relevant features and variables that can enhance model performance and contribute to business goals.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through effective data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies. Identify and recommend new tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve data science capabilities within the organization.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, helping them grow their skills and expertise in data science techniques and methodologies.
• Collaborate with external partners, such as research institutions or universities, to explore innovative data science approaches and foster collaborative research projects.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines while working with sensitive and confidential data.

• Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Banking experience required.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Strong statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms expertise.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, along with experience using data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent data visualization and communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
