Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Tableau Consultant at the company, your role involves being responsible for data visualization developments using Tableau desktop. This includes all aspects of the development life cycle such as requirements gathering, dashboard designing, coding, testing, implementation, publishing on Tableau server, user configuration, and support. You will also be connecting Tableau with different data sources, writing complex custom SQL queries, performing data cleaning, and engaging in ETL activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, design, and assist in implementing interactive dashboards in Tableau successfully for customer organizations. - Collaborate with customers, Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, and Technical peers to achieve project goals within expected timelines. - Provide support in Data Visualization using Tableau for business requirements across projects. - Mentor Junior Tableau Team members within the Organization. - Drive and Assist with building Assets and Accelerators within Data Visualization using Tableau for CoE. - Build a repository of custom development implemented by the company for unique business requirements. - Conduct trainings within Practice to build competency. **Qualifications and Experience:** - You should have 8+ years of Data Analysis Visualization Development experience, with at least 3 years in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. - Experience in at least 3 end-to-end Dashboard developments using Tableau and Project experience in Publishing on Tableau Server. - Tableau Certification would be an added advantage. In terms of technical expertise, you should have a good understanding of all products in the Tableau range, with expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. You should be well-versed in Database concepts, Data Cleaning, and ETL activities. Additionally, you should have the ability to write complex custom SQL queries, utilize various features of Tableau, and design highly interactive dashboards considering best UX practices. Your soft skills are also crucial for this role, including excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, flexibility, maturity to work in a challenging client environment, and the ability to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive manner.
