As a Senior Data Analytics Specialist at Oliver Wyman DNA, you will play a vital role in the center of excellence for business analytics and data analytics. Your responsibilities will include leveraging data and information to provide valuable business insights to consulting teams, leading to positive outcomes and tangible impacts for clients. By merging cutting-edge data science expertise with core consulting skills, you will enhance engagement teams with analytical firepower to achieve exceptional results. - Deploy best-in-class analytics, statistical models, and research methods to address complex business challenges and produce impactful business reports. - Assist in due diligence and valuation projects for private equity clients, aiding in buy decisions, sell/IPO valuations, and post-transaction deal value realization. - Perform comprehensive market, financial, and operational due diligence to support investment decisions and deal-value realization. - Create and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and data-driven insights utilizing top-notch analytics and AI techniques. - Generate clear, concise reports and presentations for both internal teams and client stakeholders. - Collaborate with senior team members to identify risks, growth opportunities, and value creation levers for clients. - Contribute to business development efforts by gathering market intelligence and participating in client proposals. - Enhance data management and reporting tools using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent. MS or Certificate courses in analytics preferred. - 2+ years of overall experience in data analytics, with at least 1+ years of exposure to market research and/or due diligences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering actionable insights and proficiency in financial modeling and modeling techniques. - Extensive knowledge and experience with customer research techniques such as interviews, surveys, and focus groups. - Experience in conducting business research across various sectors, ideally in a global consulting firm setting. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Familiarity with specialized data sources like Capital IQ, Factiva, Bloomberg, etc. - Proficiency in MS-Office, with a preference for familiarity with Gen AI and other analytical tools. - Extensive experience in data analytics and visualization tools like SQL, Python, and PowerBI. - Quick learner with the ability to rapidly grasp and adapt to new tools and platforms.
