Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview: As an Analyst in Global Data Science & Analytics, you will collaborate with a team of data scientists and data engineers to deliver innovative data science solutions. Your role will involve supporting various analytics projects for internal and external stakeholders, such as providing real-time market share insights, guiding clinical trial design through analytics, and identifying eligible patients for therapies. Utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, data mining, and visualization techniques, you will contribute to solving a diverse set of complex business problems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead activities to ensure the smooth operation of machine learning models post-deployment, making necessary adaptations for optimal performance. - Prepare datasets for statistical analysis, conduct data quality checks, and troubleshoot programming issues using languages like SAS, R, or similar. - Assist in summarizing relevant background materials, clinical study papers, and publications to provide support for various studies. - Interpret and present results effectively through figures, tables, and reports, including detailed explanations of data and analysis. - Collaborate within a team to understand complex data challenges and develop solutions to address business problems effectively. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. - Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, PySpark, SQL, R, or SAS. - Knowledge of at least one database software like Databricks or SQL. - 1-year experience in the medical device industry or working with health insurance claims is preferred. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate good organizational and time management skills. - Strong communication skills both orally and in writing, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Experience in a life sciences environment is a plus.
