Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Convera, you will play a crucial role in leading the transition into a new secure cloud environment. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with the Director of Security Operations and CISO to establish an industry-leading IAM program. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate Privilege and Identity Access Management systems and solutions. - Administer Privileged User accounts on various platforms like Windows, Linux, Databases, and Kubernetes using products like CyberArk. - Assess requirements for Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions to meet stakeholders" needs. - Design technical cybersecurity controls and define standards and best practices for applying PAM principles across the enterprise and in secure application design. - Drive requirements and design specifications for privileged access management solutions and oversee their implementation. - Provide support for production PAM infrastructure systems and processes. - Identify and document privileged account management business and technical use cases. - Develop PAM best practices and solutions for common client issues. - Deliver Privileged Access Management (PAM) technologies, including accounts management, credentials management, secrets management, and systems patching. - Facilitate the adoption, training, communication, and education of PAM capabilities, functions, and standards. - Collaborate with application teams to design, install, implement, configure, and maintain privilege access management platforms for cloud environments. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Privilege Access Management products like CyberArk. - Expertise in Active Directory, MFA processes, IAM protocols for authentication. - Experience managing a CyberArk deployment in AWS or Azure. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python. - Familiarity with identity governance products like SailPoint, IdentityNow, Saviynt, OIM, Sun IDM is a plus. - Knowledge of SSO products like OKTA, PingFederate, ForgeRock, Auth0 is a plus. - Experience with container-based infrastructure is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. - CISSP or other industry-recognized security certifications are preferred.
