Job Overview : Sodexo Food Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Cook to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about culinary excellence, meticulous about hygiene, and ready to lead by example, this rewarding career journey awaits you! Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and produce food to Sodexo India's exacting standards, with a strong emphasis on presentation, hygiene, and cost-efficiency. Ensure the proper cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and flooring, maintaining a spotless work environment. Strictly observe all safety rules and procedures, guaranteeing a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Ensure that all equipment and materials are never left in a dangerous state, proactively addressing potential hazards. Uphold proper grooming and hygiene for yourself and ensure all staff under your supervision meet these crucial standards. Assist the Manager, Site In-charge, Sous Chef, or other Senior Cooks in indenting for provisions, ensuring efficient stock management. Undertake any other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by your immediate superior or the management. Requirements: Proven experience as a Cook, with a strong background in high-volume food production. Demonstrated ability to prepare and present a wide range of dishes to a high standard. Thorough understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP knowledge preferred). Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
