We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our students and staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
o Plan and prepare a variety of nutritious meals that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
o Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of quality.
o Collaborate with the nutritionist and school administration to create balanced and appealing menus.
o Adapt menus based on seasonal ingredients and special dietary requirements.
o Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local health regulations.
o Oversee kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized.
o Train new kitchen staff on food preparation, safety protocols, and kitchen operations.
o Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
o Conduct regular checks on food storage and ensure proper handling of ingredients.
o Work closely with other staff members to coordinate meal service and accommodate special events or dietary needs.
