Engineering Specialist – Braking Software Controls

About the Role

We are hiring a Braking Software Controls Specialist to design, develop, and optimize electronic braking system software ensuring reliability, performance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for electronic braking (ABS, EBS, ESC, BFD).
• Create and tune control logic and algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and safety protocols.
• Conduct MIL, SIL, and HIL testing and vehicle-level validation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and perform risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical and electro-pneumatic systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and test procedures.

Requirements

• 7+ years in control system design and programming (mechatronics, electro-pneumatic, or electrical systems).
• 5+ years in braking control software (ABS, EBS, ESC, BFD).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, model-based design, and AutoSAR.
• Proficient in C, C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and safety-critical development.

Working Hours & Travel

• 40 hours per week with 4-hour overlap (8 AM–12 AM EST) for US coordination.
• Up to 20% international travel (Europe/Overseas).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
