Senior Content Risk Specialist

You will be responsible for creating risk and insurance content covering complex themes and macro topics that are shaping the world our clients are operating in. This role involves research, content planning, expert interviews, and writing. As a Senior Risk Content Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: - Sourcing and creating compelling, well-written content for online publication reflecting current risk and insurance industry trends - Developing relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain contributions or improve content - Mentoring junior colleagues in content writing skills, managing multiple projects, and communicating with stakeholders - Demonstrating strong English language skills to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly - Crafting and maintaining a strong narrative across various content formats - Contributing to team, business, and leadership sessions by suggesting resonating content ideas - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align content with business objectives - Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and storytelling - Partnering with Global Content team colleagues to support marketing and communications projects To be successful in this role, you should have: - 4+ years of professional experience in financial writing or journalism - Masters Degree or equivalent industry experience - Proven skill in crafting narratives for risk and insurance professionals - Proficiency in editing technical material and writing about data clearly - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Professional fluency in English with excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills - Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Gallagher values inclusion and diversity, which are core parts of its business.
