About the Role

We are looking for a Content Moderator to ensure that digital service listings, profiles, and agencies meet high-quality standards before publication.

This role involves evaluating freelancers skills, validating their information, and ensuring that all submitted content aligns with the platform's predefined guidelines and brand integrity.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, analytical thinking, and experience moderating user-generated content or vetting creative professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vetting & Evaluation

  • Conduct technical vetting of freelancers or service providers to validate their skillsets.
  • Review intro videos to ensure they meet content, tone, and quality standards.
  • Verify notable clients listed by service providers to confirm authenticity.

2. Gig / Service Moderation

  • Review and approve service listings (Gigs) based on predefined quality and eligibility criteria.
  • Perform follow-up reviews for corrected or updated listings (including updated videos).
  • Ensure that each service is properly categorized (Gig Conversion) for accurate marketplace placement.

3. Review Validation

  • Assess external reviews to identify potential authenticity issues or guideline violations.

4. Agency Vetting & Moderation

  • Evaluate and vet agency profiles, ensuring all submitted materials and assets meet professional and technical standards.
  • Perform ongoing moderation of approved agencies, reviewing new assets or portfolio updates.

5. Support & Coordination

  • Collaborate with the support and moderation team via tools like Zendesk or internal ticket systems to resolve moderation-related cases efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in content moderation, quality assurance, or vetting roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital services, creative industries, or freelance ecosystems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable using task management or support tools (e.g., Zendesk, Tableau, Salesforce, Appsmith, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Experience reviewing short video or creative portfolios.
  • Ability to spot inconsistencies or violations quickly.
