Job Description

In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of Deloitte business growth for the specific client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services using

    Java 11+

    ,

    Spring Boot

    , and

    Spring Framework

    .
  • Build and maintain

    RESTful APIs

    and microservices deployed on

    Kubernetes

    and

    Docker

    .
  • Integrate with messaging systems like

    Kafka

    and

    RabbitMQ

    for asynchronous communication.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases including

    MySQL

    ,

    PostgreSQL

    , and

    MongoDB

    .
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain

    CI/CD pipelines

    .
  • Write unit and integration tests using

    JUnit

    and

    Mockito

    to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using

    Node.js

    with

    Express

    or

    NestJS

    frameworks.
  • Write clean, maintainable code in

    TypeScript

    following modern JavaScript (ES6+) standards.
  • Design and implement

    GraphQL APIs

    for web and mobile applications.
  • Integrate with

    Redis

    , and SQL databases for data persistence and caching.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization using

    JWT

Desired qualifications

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Knowledge of API security and authentication (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Exposure to container orchestration and service mesh technologies.
  • Bachelors or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Bhubaneswar / Chennai / Bengaluru / Mumbai / Pune / Gurgaon
  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations
