Working closely with game designers and fellow artists, you will establish clear visual goals and ensure the successful execution of concepts. By creating detailed sketches, paintings, and digital renderings, you will effectively communicate design ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to inspire original content. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in the video game industry, your portfolio will showcase a diverse range of character, environment, and prop designs. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter is essential, along with expertise in traditional and digital painting techniques. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship to junior artists and fostering their growth and development.
