Senior Computer Aided Design (CAD) Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design of UAV platforms, sub-systems, and components.
• Translate functional requirements into 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and systems teams to ensure holistic design integration.
• Perform tolerance analysis, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFA (Design for Assembly).
• Work closely with manufacturing vendors for prototype builds, testing, and production support.
• Maintain structured CAD data management and documentation using PLM systems.
• Optimize designs for weight, performance, and manufacturability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience

  in CAD design for UAVs, aircraft, or high-precision UAV systems.
• Mastery of CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, composites, and structural dynamics.
• Experience in rapid prototyping, CNC, additive manufacturing, and lightweight structural design.
• Familiarity with FEA and CFD tools is an added advantage.
• Experience in UAV development lifecycle from concept to flight is preferred.
