Senior Computer Aided Design Engineer

Vittal Furnitech is in search of a skilled Joinery Draftsman/Engineer specialized in CAD/CAM software operation to join their team. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed drawings for various joinery projects using CAD/CAM software. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of high-quality joinery work for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include creating detailed and accurate joinery drawings based on client specifications and project requirements. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure that the drawings meet the project goals. Additionally, you will review and adjust drawings as needed to accommodate any changes or modifications during the project, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company guidelines. Furthermore, you will assist in the selection of materials, provide technical support during the manufacturing process, and maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation. You will also be involved in developing and writing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, setting up and calibrating CNC machines, conducting test runs, and verifying part dimensions using measuring instruments. We will provide necessary training to help you gain expertise in panel-based processing CNC machines and software. Candidates with experience in operating CNC machines in allied industries are encouraged to apply. Key Skills required for this role include writing, testing, and modifying CNC code, setting up machines, troubleshooting errors, and collaborating with engineers and machinists to enhance production efficiency. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman or similar role. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software. Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Cad+T, 3ds Max, or other design software will be an added advantage. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating drawings. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of joinery materials and techniques.
