Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Proactively monitor and respond to security alerts, ensuring timely and effective threat mitigation.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for responding to various types of security threats.
Collaborate closely with the Security Architect to evaluate threat-handling strategies, weighing pros and cons to determine the most effective approach.
Conduct gap analysis using the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify missing controls and processes and implement improvements accordingly.
Identify opportunities for automation within SOC workflows and implement solutions, leveraging AI technologies wherever feasible.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior SOC analysts, guiding their development and ensuring operational excellence.
Work alongside the Security Architect with the potential to take on advanced responsibilities, contributing to architectural decisions and growing into a more strategic role.
Implement and manage EDR solutions (Defender, SentinelOne)
Conduct vulnerability assessments using Tenable, Qualys, Nessus
Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Perform threat hunting and intelligence analysis using MITRE ATT&CK, Sigma, KQL
Automate SOC workflows using SOAR platforms
Manage cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, OCI
