Senior Cloud Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Loopio, you will have the opportunity to design, build, and support all aspects of the platform infrastructure in collaboration with a team of talented Engineers and Architects. Your role will involve working on a mission to support and enable the software development and machine learning/data teams to deliver cutting-edge features to customers in an automated and repeatable process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Building, maintaining, scaling, and hardening AWS infrastructure to meet current and future platform needs - Enhancing the security posture of Loopio's infrastructure to safeguard customer data - Collaborating with InfoSec, Architect, and Engineering teams to find optimal solutions for services on the AWS platform - Automating manual tasks to facilitate focus on advancing security, evaluating new technologies, and launching new features - Participating in strategic platform decisions, including exploring new technologies, cost-saving strategies, and improved processes - Engaging in project-based work such as software upgrades, centralized logging, automated monitoring, and load testing - Mentoring and coaching team members, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and feedback - Supporting Incident Response and participating in on-call rotations - Improving incident response by simulating failure scenarios and enhancing disaster recovery processes **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in a high-growth agile software development environment - Proficiency in automation and reducing manual tasks - Leadership qualities with a focus on candor and curiosity - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across Engineering teams - Experience with AWS and AWS services, as well as Azure - Strong understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog - Knowledge of best practices for delivering cloud-based managed applications at a global scale - Experience with containerization technology like Docker, ECS, and Fargate - Passion for continuous improvement and data-driven feedback - Experience with high-performance / high-availability platforms with a microservices architecture - Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines and centralized configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible Loopio, a global company headquartered in Canada, encourages a hybrid work model for this role based in key India hubs - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, or Pune.
