Overview

Senior Cloud Engineer

As a senior engineer, you are expected to be hands-on, actively contributing to sprint deliverables, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD pipeline development.

Key Skills

• Cloud Platforms:

  Google Cloud Platform (preferred), plus AWS or Azure

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  Terraform, Shell scripting

• Containers & Orchestration:

  Docker, Kubernetes

• DevOps Tools:

  Azure DevOps (preferred), GitHub Actions, Jenkins

• Operating Systems:

  Windows and Linux containerization

• Networking & Identity:

  VPC, DNS, IAM, SSO, OAuth

• Security & Compliance:

  SAST/DAST tools, encryption, HIPAA, GDPR

• Monitoring & Logging:

  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

• Agile & Collaboration:

  Jira, Confluence, Scrum practices

Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure components across cloud-native workstreams (digital products, data lakes, automation)
  
• Implement infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Collaborate with lead engineers, architects, and vendor teams to ensure secure and scalable environments
  
• Participate in code reviews and enforce infrastructure quality standards
  
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
  
• Stay up to date with cloud technologies and DevOps best practices
  
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations and data governance requirements
  
• Contribute to agile sprints and product planning activities
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP (preferred) and either AWS or Azure
  
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps implementation
  
• Familiarity with healthcare or regulated environments is a plus
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
