 Senior Centre Manager - Microfinance 
 Job Purpose 
Responsible for conducting village surveys, acquiring new customers, performing CGT, house verification and income assessment, ensuring quality sourcing, and making sure collections and recoveries are completed as per the group/centre meeting schedule. Maintain healthy customer relationships on the ground in the assigned location.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Conduct village surveys and prospecting in selected villages; explain BFL MFI JLG product offerings to attendees of the prospecting briefing.
  • Source new customers in allocated locations, form JLG groups, and promote financial literacy among potential borrowers.
  • Collect all information needed for sourcing, enter/upload data and/or validate documents on LOS, and follow the entire sourcing process as defined in SOP.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager for required approvals and Credit Ops Officer at the branch for disbursements as per process.
  • Plan center meetings for customers, notify customers in advance of the schedule, ensure 100% participation of borrowers in the meetings, resolve customer queries, promote top-ups and cross-selling as defined for the branch, and manage a portfolio of 450–500 customers.
  • Ensure collections are completed from customers as per scheduled center meeting days, and ensure 100% deposition of recovery at defined points of disposition as per SOP.
  • Conduct end-use monitoring of loans as per the process.
  • Maintain healthy and cordial relationships with all potential and existing borrowers, ensure 100% compliance, and exhibit good conduct in all SOPs and practices as defined in the branch operating model.
  • Create a daily report of planned and executed tasks and submit it to the Branch Manager.
  • Ensure recovery disposition reconciliation is done with the Credit and Ops Officer as per schedule.
  • Ensure critical parameters like lead to login are executed as per matrix.
  • Maintain discipline in center meetings, and follow SOPs and code of conduct.

  •  Major Challenges 
  • Quality sourcing and achieving targets as defined.
  • Ensuring regular collections and maintaining customers in the current bucket, as well as regularizing and normalizing delinquent customers.
  • Ensuring compliance on all business parameters and zero audit findings for the sourced customer segment/portfolio.
