 Senior Centre Manager - Microfinance 
 Job Purpose 
Responsible for conducting village surveys, acquiring new customers, performing Credit Group Training (CGT), house verification, and income assessment. Ensure quality sourcing, timely collections, and recoveries as per the group/centre meeting schedule. Maintain healthy customer relationships within the designated location.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Conduct village surveys and prospecting in selected villages; explain BFL MFI JLG product offerings during prospecting briefings.
  • Source new customers in allocated locations, form Joint Liability Groups (JLG), and promote financial literacy among potential borrowers.
  • Collect required information for sourcing, data entry/upload, and/or validate documents on LOS; follow the entire sourcing process as defined in SOP.
  • Coordinate with Branch Manager for required approvals and Credit Operations Officer at branch for disbursements as per process.
  • Plan center meetings for customers, notify customers in advance of the schedule, ensure 100% participation, resolve customer queries, and promote top-ups/cross-sell as defined for the branch.
  • Manage a portfolio of 450–500 customers.
  • Ensure collections from customers as per scheduled center meeting days and 100% deposition of recovery as per SOP.
  • Carry out end-use monitoring of loans as per process.
  • Maintain healthy and cordial relationships with all potential and existing borrowers; ensure 100% compliance and good conduct as per branch operating model SOPs.
  • Create a daily report of tasks planned and executed; submit to Branch Manager.
  • Ensure recovery disposition reconciliation is done with Credit and Operations Officer as per schedule.
  • Ensure critical parameters like lead-to-login are executed as per matrix.
  • Maintain center meeting discipline and follow SOPs and code of conduct.

  •  Major Challenges 
  • Quality sourcing and achieving defined targets.
  • Regular collections, maintaining customers in current bucket, and regularizing/normalizing delinquent customers.
  • Compliance on all business parameters with zero audit findings in the sourced customer segment/portfolio.
