Job Description

Senior Engineer Catia CAD Migration (V5 to V6)

Work Location: Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Experience Required: 8 - 12 years

Role & Responsibilities

Lead and execute
Catia CAD migration projects
from V5 to V6 with a focus on data integrity and quality.
Configure and use
CAD migration tools
to optimize and automate migration workflows.
Analyze, clean, and transform legacy CAD data for compatibility with Catia V6.
Collaborate with
Design, PLM, and IT teams
to ensure seamless migration and integration.
Prepare and maintain documentation of workflows, tools, and best practices.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with standards during and after migration.

Preferred Candidate Profile

8 - 12 years of experience in
Catia CAD migration (V5 to V6)
.
Strong knowledge of
CAD data management, version control, and interoperability
.
Hands-on experience with
CAD migration tools
(commercial/custom-built).
Bachelors degree in
Engineering (BE/B.Tech)
or equivalent.
Good to have: Experience in
PLM systems (ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Windchill)
,
EKL scripting
, and global engineering collaboration.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
