Required Skills:

• BTECH Mechanical with experience of 6 to 8+ years in buying process from Manufacturing/ Auro direct material.

• Deep understanding and professional experience of handling sourcing events, negotiation in direct material
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Excellent negotiation skills , customer service and stakeholder management
• Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions
• Strong knowledge in SCM processes
• In-depth knowledge& understanding of working in leading platform like AS400 (KBM), SAP etc will be an added advantage.

• Work with other functions of organization to support in evaluating purchasing needs and take orders from within the organization for direct material
• Can support sourcing and contract negotiation between client and proposed vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options. Bid, award, and administer project supply, services, and subcontracts and purchase orders to suppliers.
• Can handle and identify areas of potential cost reduction or transformation initiatives and analyze the impact of pricing changes for goods and services.
• Working with internal teams like design, engineering, and production to understand needs and ensure alignment.
• Responsible for procurement management related activities in direct procurement. Assist in the receipt of purchased materials and services, and keep detailed records of purchases and stocks. Carefully monitor deliveries and any past due shipments
• Ensure that production line runs smoothly by providing on time delivery of direct material
• Identifying opportunities to eliminate waste, improve processes, and achieve operational efficiencies within procurement
• Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing shortages, and working to minimize excess or obsolete stock. Assist in supplier negotiations and ensure pricing, delivery, and quality align with expectations
• Responsibility of creating and tracking events on sourcing platform. Carefully monitor different milestones for sourcing events
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance. Conduct routine supplier business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance
• Manage the client relationship with internal and external stakeholder effectively providing inputs on suppliers response to sourcing events
