Senior Business System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the offshore

  Kanban board

  , tracking work items, priorities, and delivery progress.
• Act as a

  Technical BSA

  , working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams.
• Lead

  requirements elicitation

  , analysis, and documentation for mainframe tool migration initiatives.
• Support the migration of mainframe tools from

  Broadcom to IBM/BMC

  , ensuring minimal disruption to existing processes.
• Analyze existing mainframe workflows, tools, and dependencies to support migration planning.
  
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and data mappings.
  
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies as required (stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews) in the absence of a Scrum Master.
  
• Perform

  data analysis

  to identify trends, gaps, and impacts related to migration and tool usage.
• Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure timely delivery and clear communication.
  
• Support UAT activities and ensure requirements are met before production rollout.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience as a

  Business Systems Analyst / Technical BSA

  .
• Strong hands-on understanding of

  IBM Mainframe platforms (z/OS)

  .
• Experience with

  mainframe tools

  , preferably

  Broadcom, IBM, or BMC tools

  (e.g., CA7, Endevor, Changeman, Control-M, File-Aid, etc.).
• Prior experience in

  mainframe tool migration

  projects is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of

  Agile / Kanban methodologies

  and managing Kanban boards.
• Strong experience in

  requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication

  .
• Ability to perform

  data analysis

  using Excel, SQL, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  
• Experience working in an offshore/onshore delivery model.
