Title- Forward proxy engineer Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:- The Infrastructure Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years of Network Security and Infrastructure experience. The network engineer must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installation, migration and decommission suite of Broadcom (erstwhile Bluecoat) devices including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC). Able to build, test and deploy proxy-based security solutions Cross-team co-ordination and collaboration to ensure end-to-end project delivery. Good understanding of network infrastructure, network security concepts and application layer protocols (http/https) and vulnerability mitigation Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures. Proficient in use of SEIM tools for investigating purposes Expertise of networking fundamentals including Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls. Understand complex issues in software modularity, performance bottlenecks, etc. Experience contributing at all stages of software development life-cycle. Experience in software-based packet handling. Experience developing software for networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols. Experience developing system-level software in Linux/Unix development environment. Knowledge of security technologies including VPN and Firewalls and Telecom protocols. Hands-on experience with multi-core, multi-threading systems. Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a high-achieving team or independently.
