Senior Business Manager, VP

Role Overview: As a Senior Business Manager at DWS, you will play a crucial role in the globally integrated function of the DWS Product Division. Your primary responsibility will be to position the product range as a key differentiator and strategic growth tool in the competitive asset management landscape. You will focus on providing high-quality and innovative products for DWS clients, driving agile and innovative product development with a clear customer-centric approach, and ensuring profitability throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain data management strategies to ensure data integrity, quality, correctness of definition of Product Division owned attributes, clear ownership/applicability, and accessibility across the value chain. - Collaborate with Chief Data Office, IT, and other departments to implement and optimize data management systems and processes. - Produce and maintain a roadmap for Material Data within the Product Division, identifying key milestones, KPIs, and demonstrating the implementation of the Data Strategy. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements. - Maintain compliance of Material Data with Data Management standards as documented in the Data Management Procedures and for the prioritized Material Data scope in line with the approved roadmap. - Establish effective key controls and consistency checks for the Product Division to address minimum control standards. - Adhere to baseline training requirements defined by Chief Data Officer for the Product Division and identify and support incremental Data training needs for employees to foster a data-driven culture. - Support Risk & Control Assessment for Data Management Risk with an expert view on Data Inherent Risk and Control Effectiveness for Product Division. Qualifications Required: - A Masters degree (or equivalent) in business administration, technology, or a related field. - Several years of professional experience in the Technology or Data Management areas in the asset management sector, with experience in Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Computing preferred. - Advanced knowledge in coding: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Java, and Scala for data analysis and large-scale data processing. - Practical Data Analysis skills including data extracting, cleaning, preparation, validation, and reporting. - Advanced knowledge of using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word (ideally Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query) for analyzing and presenting complex issues. - Must possess soft skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. - Highly articulate, precise, and persuasive communicators with strong collaboration and teamwork skills. - Mandatory English written and verbal skills (German written and verbal skills are added benefits).,
