Senior Business Journalist

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Journalist with a solid background in business journalism and content production. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business journalism and should be able to independently handle editorial responsibilities, discover impactful content, and supervise content production in various formats. Key Responsibilities: - Independent Desk Management: Taking ownership of daily editorial operations, which includes planning, assigning, editing, and publishing business news content. - Content Sourcing: Identifying, evaluating, and curating relevant business stories, industry trends, market updates, and economic insights from credible sources. - Oversight of Content Production: Guiding and collaborating with junior writers, freelancers, and contributors to ensure the delivery of quality and timely content. - Story Development: Writing, editing, and producing in-depth features, analyses, interviews, and breaking news on business, finance, markets, and the economy. - Editorial Strategy: Contributing to the overall editorial calendar and strategy by providing fresh ideas, pitching storylines, and supporting the development of new content verticals. Requirements: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Journalism, Business, Economics, Communications, or related fields. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business journalism with a strong portfolio of published work. - Proven ability to manage an editorial desk and oversee the end-to-end content lifecycle. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
