Job Purpose
Being part of the data & communications team, the individual will be working on key development & support initiatives that will take our platform stack to future state in order to help business derive profitability at lower cost.Duties and Responsibilities

Enhance platforms to enable Omni-Channel orchestration capabilities

Design, implement, and maintain our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to centralize and analyze customer data from various sources.

Develop and optimize data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) customer data into the CDP.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the CDP environment.

Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR) in managing customer data.

Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, and ADF (Azure Data Factory) to query, manipulate, and integrate data from disparate sources.

Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and enrichment processes within the CDP.

Monitor CDP performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure scalability and efficiency.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in CDP and data engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Major Challenges

Understanding Bajaj Finance business & various product offers as each business has unique challenges that needs support from IT team for enabling solutions for carrying out day-2-day operations

Understanding data and distribution model, so the right pipelines are designed for business to make right decisions and leverage the right data for customer/prospect communications

Understanding platform stack, channels, and operations in order to enable omni-channel orchestration capabilities
Required Qualifications and Experience
‚

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
‚

Proven experience (2 years) working with marketing technology platforms (CDP / Responsys / Salesforce Marketing Cloud / CleverTap), preferably in a similar industry.
‚

Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
‚

Hands-on experience with ADF (Azure Data Factory) or similar ETL tools for data integration and workflow orchestration.
‚

Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
‚

Familiarity with data governance principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
‚

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
‚

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
‚

Self-motivated with a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
