Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business needs, driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing processes, data analysis, and digital transformation projects. Candidate must be proficient in requirement gathering techniques like RBAC (Role-based access control) Matrix, BPMN (Business process modeling notation), Prioritizing requirements (MoSCoW), verification & validation etc. working closely with cross-functional agile teams to drive business efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing business processes and recommend optimized workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to extract insights and support business strategies.
• Project Management Support: Assist in defining project scope, backlog items, MVP scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• UI/ UX prototype Support: Review and work with UI/ UX design team in finalizing the prototype for the agile development team.
• User Acceptance Test Support: Conduct user acceptance test and provide continuous feedback to the agile development team.
• Technology & Digital Transformation: Work on system integrations, automation solutions, and emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure that projects align with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), and presentations for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's/masters degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in business analysis, preferably in IT, finance, consulting domains or market research.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations.
• Modelling Techniques: Proficiency in Data Modelling, Business process Modelling (BPM), Unified Modeling Language (UML), System modeling (SysML) and RBAC.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools. Familiarity with web application, API, Database and ML development is desirable. Familiarity with Software System testing from User Acceptance Test is desirable.
• Process Modeling: Experience with tools like draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN for workflow documentation.
• Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Must be proficient with agile project management methodology using Azure DevOps Boards and Test (optional JIRA, Confluence, or Trello). Must be able to prioritize requirements (MoSCoW) and convert requirements into Product, Sprint backlog items in Azure Board and creating Test Plan in Azure DevOps Test.
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
• Certifications (Preferred): CBAP, PMP, Agile Business Analyst, or other relevant certifications.
