Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our Investment Analytics team. With 4-6 years of experience in financial analytics, you should have a strong proficiency in Python, Power BI, and SQL. In this role, you will collaborate closely with investment strategists, portfolio managers, and data engineers to provide actionable insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making across our investment portfolios. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining analytical models to support investment decision-making and portfolio optimization. You will design and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key investment metrics and trends. Writing efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources will be a crucial aspect of this role. Additionally, you will utilize Python for advanced analytics, such as statistical modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions will also be essential. Monitoring market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and portfolio performance to identify risks and opportunities will help guide your decision-making process. Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all analytics outputs is paramount. You will be expected to present your findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Along with 4-6 years of experience in investment analytics, financial modeling, or data analysis within the banking or financial services industry. Strong hands-on experience with Python, Power BI, and SQL is required. A solid understanding of investment products, portfolio theory, and financial markets is essential. Experience with data visualization, storytelling with data, and executive-level reporting will be beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and stakeholder management skills are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data pipelines, knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in finance, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk analytics.
