Senior Blockchain Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  blockchain protocols

  , consensus mechanisms, and decentralized applications.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and secure

  Rust

  code for blockchain components.
• Implement smart contracts, cryptographic functions, and distributed ledger tools.
• Develop and optimize node infrastructure, P2P networking, and runtime modules.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable blockchain systems.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Research emerging blockchain technologies and propose improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of experience in blockchain development.
• Strong programming experience in

  Rust

  (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals:
• Consensus algorithms
• Cryptographic primitives
• Peer-to-peer networks
• Transaction flows
• Smart contract execution
• Experience with one or more blockchain ecosystems (e.g.,

  Solana, Polkadot/Substrate, Cosmos, Ethereum

  )—preferably Rust-based chains.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  Substrate

  framework.
• Knowledge of WASM, Zero-Knowledge systems, Layer 1/L2 architectures.
• Exposure to Rust async runtimes (Tokio, async-std).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
