Senior BFA, AVP

Role Overview: As a Senior BFA, AVP at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in independently leading the gathering and articulation of business requirements for the development team. Your focus will be on ensuring that the testing and quality approach align with the business requirements and mentoring junior analysts. You will work within a cross-functional agile delivery team, bringing innovation to software development and emphasizing collaboration and open communication. Key Responsibilities: - Possess strong functional knowledge of Loan IQ - Lead gathering requirements, analysis, data/gap analysis, and preparation of requirements document - Guide and mentor junior analysts - Elicit NFRs, perform GAP Analysis, and work closely with global Loan Projects team and software developers - Document requirement specifications using tools like Jama/JIRA and obtain sign-off from stakeholders - Play a key role in analysis and re-engineering/enhancement of core processes to ensure consistency - Manage traceability throughout the project lifecycle to meet business requirements - Investigate production issues and guide the L3 team on functional aspects - Collaborate with QA for functional testing, regression testing, and UAT - Participate in Reporting platform consolidation through functional analysis of reporting inventory Qualifications Required: - Possesses basic SQL skills - Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodologies, preferably agile models - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills - Ability to lead and guide junior analysts effectively - Strong team player comfortable in dynamic and high-pressure environments - Experience in Banking/Capital Market/IB as a Business Analyst - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 12+ years of relevant work experience Additional Company Details (if any): Deutsche Bank fosters a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, empowering employees to excel together every day.
