About the Role

We are developing a next-generation AI-driven enterprise platform and are looking for a Senior Backend/Platform Engineer with strong expertise in backend development, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and AI/ML readiness. The role requires hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs for enterprise modules.
• Build and manage integrations with third-party systems.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate generative AI and predictive models into the platform.
• Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with global standards.
• Optimize performance and reliability for large-scale, high-volume workloads.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for backend services.
• Drive adoption of best practices across backend engineering and DevOps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend engineering, integrations, or platform development.

* Build and manage event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

• Strong programming skills in Python .

* Implement workflow orchestration using Temporal for long-running business processes.

• Expertise in microservices, Kubernetes (AKS).
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure (AKS, ACR, Networking, Key Vault, Security).
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong experience with databases (SQL + NoSQL), caching (Redis), Graph databases (Neo4j) and data modeling.
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Exposure to AI/ML integration and scalable data pipelines.
• Strong skills in security, compliance, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud setups and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
