Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js . Create RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications. Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB , ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and maintain event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka . Deploy, monitor, and manage backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, following best practices in testing and documentation. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Solid experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases. Expertise in API design , including REST and GraphQL. Proficiency in Apache Kafka for real-time data processing. Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Firestore, etc. Good understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices Immediate joiners are highly preferred. Location :- Chennai,Coimbatore,Bangalore and Pune.
