Senior Backend Developer

As a highly skilled Backend Developer, you will be responsible for migrating the backend from PHP to Node.js and managing backend systems for Android, iOS, and web platforms. This role offers end-to-end ownership of architecture, development, deployment, and server management. Key Responsibilities: - Backend Development (Node.js) - Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express.js / NestJS preferred). - Develop robust REST APIs for Android & iOS applications. - Implement backend logic for workflows, dashboards, and admin tools. - Write clean, scalable, secure, and modular code. - Database & Architecture - Design and manage SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL). - Write optimized queries, indexes, and schema migrations. - Make strong architectural decisions and design scalable data models. - Implement caching (Redis is an added advantage). - Server & Deployment Management - Deploy Node.js apps on Hostinger (VPS/Cloud), cPanel, and other hosting platforms. - Configure PM2, Nginx reverse proxy, SSL, DNS, staging environments, etc. - Monitor logs, uptime, server load, crashes, and system performance. - Manage subdomains, virtual servers, CPU/RAM scaling, and load balancing. - AWS & S3 - Integrate AWS S3 for secure file/media storage. - Manage IAM roles, bucket policies, signed URLs, and folder structures. - Basic to intermediate understanding of EC2 setup, deployment, and monitoring. - Handle backup flows, S3 uploads, and storage lifecycle. - DevOps & Production Readiness - Manage Git-based deployments (GitHub/GitLab). - Handle environment variables, build processes, and staging. - Set up cron jobs, queues, and background jobs (BullMQ is a plus). - Optimize performance and maintain high production reliability.
