Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in PHP and Node.js to lead our backend development efforts. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-focused environment and is passionate about clean code, architecture, and performance optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices powering modern web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Node.js. Develop and optimize secure, scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers. Lead architectural decisions and code reviews. Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications. Optimize performance and ensure high availability and responsiveness. Integrate with third-party APIs and legacy systems as needed. Guide and mentor junior developers on backend standards and practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in PHP and Node.js. Deep understanding of PHP frameworks like Laravel, or CodeIgniter. Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS,. Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns. Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Solid experience in API design, caching strategies, and data modeling. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
